Warranties

The warranty offered with Topaz products is a manufacturer's limited liability warranty. This means that the products are warrantied to be free from defective workmanship and will be as described within the Topaz specification sheets.

The suitability for the intended end-user application is wholly the responsibility of the purchaser.

Any damage or failure of the unit(s) caused by mis-handling or mis-use is not covered by the warranty.

SigLite units and fingerprint units are covered by the above warranty for a period of 2 year from date of manufacture

GemView units with attached pens are covered by the above warranty for a period of 1 year from date of manufacture

SignatureGem units are covered by the above warranty for a period of 3 years from date of manufacture

Outside of the manufacturer's warranty the units can be repaired/renewed for a modest cost plus postage and packing.

All faulty units must be reported to IDSL and in the event that a return is necessary IDSL will issue an RMA number. The unit can then be returned to IDSL. No units can be accepted back without such a number.

The units, if covered by warranty, will be repaired and returned at our expense. The units, if not covered by warranty, will be repaired and returned with the costs being invoiced to the customer. Obviously all these charges will be informed and agreed in advance.

Accessories and spare pens are not covered under this warranty
